Counsellor
Job Summary:
Provide crucial emotional and psychological support to patients and their families as a Counsellor at our hospital. This role requires an empathetic and skilled professional who can help individuals navigate the challenges associated with illness, treatment, and recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counselling to patients and their families.
- Assess patients' psychological needs and develop appropriate counselling plans.
- Collaborate with the medical team to ensure holistic patient care.
- Offer support in areas such as coping with diagnosis, grief, and stress management.
- Maintain confidential records of all counselling sessions.
Requirement
- Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Psychology or Social Work.
- 1-3 years of counselling experience. Experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
- Excellent listening and communication skills.
- A compassionate and non-judgmental approach.
