Casualty Medical Officer (CMO)
Job Summary:
Join our emergency department as a Casualty Medical Officer and be the first point of contact for patients in critical need. This fast-paced role requires a skilled medical professional who can make quick, life-saving decisions. You will be responsible for providing immediate medical attention to patients, managing emergency cases, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide immediate medical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment to patients in the casualty department.
- Expertly handle Medico-Legal Cases (MLCs) with proper documentation.
- Manage shifts effectively to ensure 24/7 medical coverage.
- Coordinate with specialists and other departments for patient referrals and continued care.
- Lead the emergency response team during critical situations.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure smooth hospital operations during your shift.
Requirement
- MBBS, MD, or a Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Healthcare or Hospital Administration.
- Experience in handling MLCs, shift management, and hospital operations.
- Strong clinical diagnostic and team coordination skills.
- Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are highly desirable.
